However, he is mostly known for his contributions as a producer of country music. Additionally, he also worked with the CBC program Singalong Jubilee.
Generally, he made a lot of contributions to the Canadian music industry. Upon his death, the CCMA celebrated Bill as one of Canada’s first and best leaders in the ever-competitive music industry.

Death
Bill Langstroth died on May 8, 2013, in Monton Hospital. He had moved to Sackville, Brunswick, barely six months before his death to care for his failing health. His friend Ron MacNutt, who talked of his death, did not mention the cause of his death. However, it seems he was battling a disease, and that is why he had to retreat to Sackville to recuperate.
Ron talked of his friend, Bill, noting that he was a grumpy guy and had to be grumpy due to the nature of his work.
