After Kenny left, the show was renamed The Max Kellerman Show. After working for ESPN Radio for about three years, Max left the radio as Brandon Tierney filled in for him.
First Take
First Take was a great show, especially for Max Kellerman, given that he had been part of it since its inception in 2007. However, in 2021, he left the show; this was after a breakup with his co-host Stephen A. Smith. The two would not continue working together, and as such, one had to leave the show.
Smith noted that he did not dislike Max Kellerman. It is just that they were sounding the same, and it was no fun for the audience. As such, they needed someone else with different views from Smith’s. Most fans may have started feeling bad for Max, but he had found another show that he was hosting.
